Followup to my previous comment: I managed to recover the controller by opening it and flashing via the serial port. However, just flashing WLED_0.15.0_ESP32.bin again lead to the same dead controller. I had to
Erase the entire flash
Flash the bootloader
Flash v0.15
Reconfigure WLED from scratch (also assign GPIOs etc.)
I suspect there is something about the flash or data layout chosen by Athom that stock WLED can't deal with anymore. Maybe that's also the reason Athom hasn't released 0.15 versions of their custom firmwares yet?
Today, I tried exactly this via OTA, but it seems to have bricked my controller. I have used WLED_0.15.0_ESP32.bin (sha256: 9943fb09592dab19ff5e482b1a03f284927ddf64af5d74fedac9eea23de5e408).
Yes, it is possible.You have to properly set up the mic.And if you have remote, it will not function properly. If you want IR Remote function, you have top wait for custom firmware.
