I made a "small" mistake of applying 12V to a 5V WS2812B LED strip. I discovered my mistake and changed to 5V but now I cannot control it. Of the 266 LED's in the strip, only 3 random LED light up constantly. Have I f***ed up?

Your light strip has been burned out, please replace it with a new one
