Rename Device

dans ESPHome Related

I would like to rename my espHome based devices to something more fitting. Ie "Fan Heater", or "Lava Lamp".

How do i do this? I cannot see any options on the device homepage.

Modify "friendly_name" or "name"

I solved this by flashing to Tasmota. In tasmota you have a lot more control of these sorts of things, and they are automatically discovered by Home Assistant.
