Two Wiring Modes

With Neutral Wire

Use this wiring method when a neutral wire is available inside the wall box. It generally provides the most stable power supply and the broadest compatibility with different lighting loads.

Without Neutral Wire

The no-neutral wiring mode is designed for installations where only the live wire and switched live wire are available inside the wall box.

Compatibility in no-neutral mode depends on the lamp type and power consumption. Some low-power LED lamps may require a compatible bypass capacitor to prevent flickering or incomplete switch-off.

Always follow the product wiring diagram.

ESPHome Pre-Installed

ESPHome firmware is installed before shipping, allowing the switch to integrate easily with Home Assistant.

Once connected, you can:

  • Turn lights on or off remotely

  • View the current switch status

  • Create schedules and timers

  • Build automations with other Home Assistant devices

  • Control lights based on motion or presence

  • Add the switch to Home Assistant dashboards

  • Update the firmware wirelessly

  • Customize its behavior through ESPHome

No proprietary manufacturer app or mandatory cloud account is required for normal local operation.

Bluetooth Proxy Enabled by Default

Bluetooth proxy functionality is enabled in the default ESPHome firmware.

The switch can help Home Assistant receive data from supported nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices, including:

  • Temperature and humidity sensors

  • Door and window sensors

  • Plant sensors

  • Bluetooth beacons

  • Presence sensors

  • Other compatible BLE devices

Installing multiple switches in different rooms can help expand Bluetooth coverage throughout your home.

Use it with:

  • Motion sensors
