EM6 6-Channel Single-Phase WiFi Energy Meter
BL0906 Energy Monitoring | ESP32-C3 | Tasmota Firmware | Bidirectional Measurement | DIN Rail Mount
Product Overview
The EM6 is a 6-channel WiFi energy monitoring controller designed for single-phase electrical systems.
It features a built-in BL0906 energy metering chip and an ESP32-C3 WiFi chip with 4MB flash memory. This version comes pre-installed with Tasmota firmware, providing a local web interface for device configuration and energy data monitoring.
With one voltage measurement channel and six independent current measurement channels, the EM6 can monitor multiple single-phase circuits simultaneously. Bidirectional measurement allows the device to display both positive and negative data, making it suitable for monitoring electricity consumption and reverse energy flow.
Key Features

Built-in ESP32-C3 WiFi chip
4MB flash memory
Pre-installed Tasmota firmware
Local web-based configuration
1 voltage measurement channel
6 independent current measurement channels
Current measurement range: 0.1-97A
Supports bidirectional energy measurement
Displays positive and negative measurement data
DIN rail installation
IPEX connector for an optional external antenna
Compact design for electrical distribution boxes
CT cable length: 100cm
Tasmota Firmware
The pre-installed Tasmota firmware provides a convenient local interface for WiFi configuration, device settings and measurement data access.
Depending on your Tasmota configuration and home automation platform, the device can be integrated through supported local communication methods such as MQTT.
No mandatory cloud service is required for local operation.
Bidirectional Measurement
The EM6 supports bidirectional measurement and can distinguish between different current directions.
Depending on the CT clamp orientation and direction of energy flow, the measured value may be displayed as positive or negative. If the displayed direction is opposite to the expected result, reverse the orientation of the CT clamp.

Important Compatibility Notice
This product supports single-phase electrical systems only.
It does not support three-phase electricity and cannot be used as a three-phase energy meter.
Although the EM6 provides six current measurement channels, all monitored circuits must be part of a compatible single-phase electrical system.
CT Clamp Installation Warning
Each current transformer clamp must be installed around only one single-phase conductor: either the Live wire (L) or the Neutral wire (N).
Do not clamp the CT around the Live and Neutral wires together. Their magnetic fields may cancel each other, resulting in zero, unstable or incorrect readings.
Correct Installation
Clamp around the Live wire (L) only; or
Clamp around the Neutral wire (N) only.
Incorrect Installation
Do not clamp the Live and Neutral wires together.
Do not clamp multiple conductors together.
Do not use the CT clamp to measure three-phase cables together.
Electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Disconnect the power supply before installation and follow all applicable local electrical safety regulations.
Important Notes
Confirm that your electrical system is single-phase before ordering.
The supported current measurement range is 0.1-97A.
Positive and negative readings depend on the direction of current flow and CT clamp orientation.
An external antenna can be connected through the IPEX connector when improved WiFi reception is required.
MQTT availability and integration functions depend on the installed Tasmota build and user configuration.
