I bought 3 of them - Model SS01TH-ESP-EU

Powered one, WiFi AP appeared but both my phone and my laptop failed to connect to them. I tried a few dozens of times and then I saw in the manual that there is also a bluetooth possibility. Went to my Home Assistant server and it auto-discovered the device via BLE: hit configure, added SSID and password, successfully connected to my WiFi and then discovered by HA as a ESPHome device. Having the device properly connected to my WiFi I decided to remove the BLE connection, the device had no issue with that. However, after unplugging it from power and plugging it again, it doesn't connect again to the WiFi configured via BLE. This is far from a reliable device, I cannot configure it everytime the power goes down and back up again. Is there any way of solving this? It…

What is the solution? The release notes mention changing to ESP-IDF framework

I managed to flash the ESP Home firmware to my smart plug (Shipped with Tasmoto). But I can't flash it to the latest version with ESP Home Builder and custom YAML code.

It's running on the original ESP Home build provided with the firmware.

Error

Is there a way to test the continuity of the wiring. My sensor shows that the door is open even when I manually bring the sensor right up to the magnet. I don't see any obvious wiring breaks.
