I updated one LS-4P controller to v0.14.0-b1 using the ESP02 bin. That bricked the controller and I cannot even do a reset. Maybe there was a faulty electric connection.
I was scared to ever try it again but I have intermittent Wifi issues with WLED on my Asus Mesh network, so I kept exploring. I have a few other controllers, so I set up a parallel test for the Wifi issues with a second LS-4P as well as a Dig Uno. Since it is not even possible to flash the Dig Uno with the default v0.13.0-b4, I chose to set it up with v-0.13.3. Then to make the test as equal as possible I had another go to upgrade the LS-4P which had Wifi issues.
I first made a backup for Presets and Configuration (a step I did not do the first time). Then downloaded the version that Athom support shared above on Nov 9, 2022. When the reboot was triggered it could not reconnect even after a really long wait. I thought I had bricked another one. However this time I could see the lights still working. I accessed the controller directly with it's own Wifi signal. All the Wifi settings were correct. So I saved. Then about a minute later it reestablished connection to the home network. Maybe it just needed more patience before it would have reconnected on its own.
tl:DR v0.13.3 works for OTA upgrades!
